I recently came across a setting in my Nvidia control panel called "output dynamic range". It was set to limited all these years. I changed it to 'Full'.
Now blacks look blacker, whites whiter, etc. Looks awesome.

A side effect however is that in Xenimus everything looks darker. I mean, overall the colouring looks better, but when it's "night time" in Xenimus everything is way too dark. I can barely see. That's with NV enabled.

I guess I could turn off this setting every time I play Xenimus, but that seems like a pain in the butt.

So since Xenimus doesn't have brightness control settings, I was googling if there was a way to adjust brightness/contrast in any game and came across a program called ReShade (http://reshade.me/).

Apparently it's supposed to allow you to adjust a ton of shader settings in almost any game that uses directX.
I won't pretend I know how it works, but I was hoping it would work for Xenimus.

So I installed it, pointed it towards the Xenimus.exe file and attempted to adjust colour settings.
Absolutely nothing I did in the program made any difference at all in Xenimus.

Does this just not work with Xenimus? Is there a way to get it to work?

Thanks for any replies.
